My name is Judy
Hello there!
I live in Northwest New Jersey and would like to take you on a little adventure into my fine art photography of hauntedly beautiful abandoned buildings - some having significant, sometimes macabre, historical value. Also featured are images of the breathtaking beauty of my home state.

Old Mine Road
The Old Mine Road Historic District is found within the Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area. I have been documenting the remaining structures left after the failed Tocks Island dam project.

Insane Asylums
What first drew me to Insane Asylums was the architecture - the buildings are just gorgeous! Then I delved into the history and became completely hooked on the stories each one held.

Farms and Gristmills
Another obsession I have are the farms and gristmills that dot the landscape throughout Sussex and Warren Counties, NJ. They signify the rich agricultural history of the area and still are very important to the local economy.

Nature and Wildlife
When I'm not exploring abandoned and historical places, you can find me in the woods, on a trail, or along lakes and rivers. With the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the need to take in nature's serenity becomes more important than ever - it's just good for the soul!

Beyond New Jersey
While I do love my home state, I lived in northern Virginia for 3 years. I have also traveled to and from Charlottesville, VA a number of times - documenting the stops I made along the way! Â
